Fearne
18
Princess of Dawnguard
Fearne has only known a handful of people
in her life.
Her mother is her most central source of family, teaching the young girl the finer points of life as a Princess and future Queen.
Her father is distant, busy with matters of state and ruling Dawnguard. Fearne knows very little about him.
She has a governess, but is only allowed to speak to her through a screen. As no one in Dawnguard is allowed to look directly upon the Princess
.She grew up locked in her tower, as far as anyone in the palace knew. Often, however, Fearne snuck out beyond the bordered walls of her private garden out to the woods beyond.
That is where she met Timber. A strange boy inside of a crater, with odd powers who could barely recall his own name.
Fearne brought him back to the palace with her, promising to keep him secret from her parents and the hand maidens who looked after her.
He is her sole real friend. The only person who gets to look her in the eyes and truly see her.
As she comes of age, her parents have begun to bring more princes to the palace in the hopes of arranging a fortuitous match between Fearne and the future leader of a powerful kingdom.
---------
"Come away from the din. Come away to the quiet fields, over which the great sky stretches, and where, between us and the stars, there lies but silence; and there, in the stillness let us llisten to the voice that is speaking within us."
